Compassion Network UK
Compassion House is a growing family of local churches and safe places across Wales and the UK — each one built to impact a life, develop a leader, and revive a community.
“My Father's house has many rooms.” — John 14:2
The rooms we build
Our charitable objects describe four distinct forms of service. Together, they are one act of welcome.
Room 01
Workshops and leadership training that turn people who've been helped into people who help.
Room 02
The relief of sickness and hardship through a safe place, counselling, and ongoing support.
Room 03
Direct support for people set back by youth, age, ill-health, disability, or financial hardship.
Room 04
Prayer, teaching, outreach, and pastoral care for the whole community — not only for members.
Why we measure this way
We measure ourselves by the person in front of us, not attendance at an event.
Leadership here is a form of discipleship — raised up from within the community, not hired in.
Our unit of impact is the local church. A healthy church outlasts any single project or funding cycle.

The vision
Why we're called Compassion House, and what we believe the local church is for.
Jesus said it to unsettled people, on the night before He left them: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” (John 14:1–2)
It is a promise about belonging — that God's house is not one room built for one kind of person, but many rooms, prepared on purpose, for people who would otherwise have nowhere to be received. We take our name from that promise because it describes what we believe the local church is for, and what we exist to build.
We use “House” in both senses of the word. Compassion House is the family of local churches, ministries, and outreach sites we plant and support — a network, not a single address. And within that network, each site is asked to be a literal safe place: a room where someone facing hardship, sickness, isolation, or crisis can be received, not just referred elsewhere.
A room is not a waiting area. It is a place someone is expected, and prepared for, before they arrive.
We serve people who are easy to overlook: the young person without direction, the older person without company, the sick without support, the disabled without access, and anyone else pushed to the margins by disadvantage. We are a young and still-growing charity — we don't claim to serve everyone equally well yet — but we intend to be a voice for people who don't currently have one, and to keep building rooms until that is true.
Jesus did not describe an empty house. He described rooms being prepared, on purpose, before anyone arrived. That is the standard we are building to — not open doors, but prepared rooms.
The directory
Every site is a room in the same house — its own name, its own service times, the same welcome. Sites tagged Confirm details are real but still missing a fact or two.

Learn more →For local pastors — UK, Europe & Africa
Compassion Network UK exists to ensure no pastor leads alone — building healthy leaders who build healthy churches that revive local communities, until the lost are saved, the saved are freed, the freed are restored, and the restored are fulfilled.
The framework
Three commitments, not a chain of command. This isn't an accountability structure — it's pastors carrying each other's burdens on purpose, together.
Genuine relationship first. A small circle of pastors who actually know each other's lives, not just their sermons.
Healthy leaders build healthy churches. We measure this in changed lives and strengthened communities, not attendance.
Wise covering and direction, held with care rather than control — support a pastor can lean on.

Where we are
Our first cohort is made up of a small, personally-invited group of local pastors — kept small on purpose, so it stays relational rather than becoming a programme. It's not an open sign-up, and that's intentional: we'd rather this work well for a few before it's opened wider across Europe and Africa.
Local pastors
If you're a local pastor and this resonates, get in touch. We'll be in touch when the next cohort opens.
